Absolutely loved this film! Just saw a special $1 showing Aug 7 2018 in San Diego, CA. Rated it 7of5stars! Very funny moments and *nuances* throughout, the joy of family and having a brother, childhood imagination, and a clever plot/backstory to boot! Great for kids and parents. Very young kids under 6 probably won't get it. Highly recommended. I was even crying a lot happily toward and at the end. Aww....

This was really nice movie. It was really funny and it clearly shows the struggles of having a new baby brother or sister. The thing I liked most about the movie was the fact that there was a completely different world of babies. That was hilarious! In this movie, seven year old Tim finds out that he is getting a baby brother. What he didn't expect was the baby to come in a taxi with a suit on and with a briefcase in his hand! Soon, the baby explains where he comes from, why he is here, and what Tim can do to help him, and get rid of him for good, so that Tim can happily live with his mom and dad as a family of three once again. Tim agrees to help the adorable baby. My favourite part in the movie is the beginning, when it shows how babies come into the world. The fictional process was very fun to watch. It also shows how ticklish kids enter into a world with a loving family, whereas non ticklish babies work in a place called "Baby Corp". The story was unique and was pretty interesting and funny. The only parts I found boring were when Tim starts imagining random things. Those parts didn't really go well with the story. Apart from that, I really enjoyed watching this movie and I would definetely recommend watching this movie. Rating- 4/5 @Vanilla of the Teen Review Board at Hamilton Public Library

Boss Baby by Marla Frazee is a very enjoyable movie. The best part about the movie is that it is suitable for anyone to watch. This movie brings back so many memories from my childhood, making most of the movie very relatable. This is a very clever movie due to the enormous amount of imagination and creativity put into the context. I also adore how they managed to put in various important lessons in such an entertaining way. The most obvious lesson is probably how you can accomplish so many things with teamwork, but the main one is the importance of family. Boss Baby is a funny movie and has an impressive twist to it. The movie “Boss Baby” is a decent Disney movie with a very horrible theme. The animation of “Boss Baby” is alright and is very similar to some animations of other Disney movies. Although the animation of this movie was alright, I personally thought that the heads of the children were abnormally huge compared to their bodies. “Boss Baby” has a really childish and weird plot with a baby and a normal child becoming more like brothers. The movie is basically about a baby who works and a child who found out this baby’s Secret and now have come really close to each other. The ending of this movie was perhaps the best thing in the movie, due to the fact that the child and the baby do in fact become brothers and are together once again. The emotion and which this movie emits is not really intense although this movie basically includes sadness, hope and joy. I believe that this movie is enjoyable for all ages, after all, it is a Disney movie. Anyone who is a big fan of Disney movies has probably watched “Boss Baby”. Rating 3.5/5

Clever and took a plot twist that I was not expecting. As an adult viewer, it was cute, clever and offered enough complexity to keep me interested. I enjoyed the concept of babies fighting for their 'market share'. Even better would have been a battle between the babies and cell phones!

Not what I was expecting but a unique story that's both sweet and funny. I love Alec Baldwin and his dry humor is a perfect fit for this character.

Not as good as I was expecting. Fast forwarded. A good movie for kids though.

I'm not too sure who this movie is for.

Alec Baldwin's performance is a callback to his previous roles as managers (most notably Glengarry Glen Ross), so that's a nod adults would get, but there's plenty enough butts and snappy slapstick that would grab kids' attention. I wasn't a big fan of either.

Cuter and more worthwhile than I thought it would be. I find that there is a plethora of animated features that are being thrown at the audience and most of them just feel like poor excuses for a money grab. Glad that this movie was not the case.

NOT funny..or even cute. A waste of time!

Scythers Dec 11, 2017

It was a pretty decent movie. The animation quality was good, the characters were decent (though their feelings/loyalties kind of flip-flop too easily), and the humour was alright as in, not bad, but not great... slightly above satisfactory though. The plot was different than I expected: I thought the movie was going to be about an inexplicably intelligent baby... turns out, he's just part of a race of babies that are less ticklish than normal from the baby factory sent into a baby management position. Good to watch with the kids, not super exciting for adults though.

I'm already making progress with parents. The usual procedure: sleep deprivation, hunger strikes. They are very confused. I have them eating out of my hand. They do everything for me.
