Tale of the a community of civilized Oklahoma Indians in the late 1800's and early 1900's in Indian Territory. A moving story that includes their customs, way of life, heartaches, laughter and the encroachment of the whites. Story line is great, I would recommend reading this tale to all Oklahomans.

A DISAPPOINTMENT. CHEROKEE WAS AN INDIAN WOMAN'S NAME. BOOK WAS PEDANTIC.
