"David Brooks is one of the nation's leading writers and commentators."
Huh???? Says who!!!!!!?????
He's a parasite with a stink tank, Brookings, founded by ultra-war profiteer and American traitor [check out where the vessel which sunk the Lusitania originated from], Andrew Carnegie!

Uneven book. Brooks suggests that there are two mountains we can climb: happiness based on what life gives us - and inward focus - and joy, what we give to others through a life of service via commitments to family, vocation, faith and community. Autobiographical. Strongest chapters are about faith.

This book is hilarious when you realize he left his wife for a woman much younger than him and then tries to write a book on morality. Insanity to enjoy this seriously, any close reading will see the deep pathological hints at play.
