I liked it. (And, there is an "ending.")

We liked the series. I especially like the new tech ideas like "flash masks" and an all-body-internal Gps tracker. I fell in love with Karl Urban when he was in Star Trek so I'm always happy to see him again. Yes, the visuals are obviously strongly influenced by Blade Runner. But, the story lines are more typically cop-show flavors.

Don't bother!
This rip-off of BladeRunner was cancelled before Season 1 was finished and did not even have a proper ending.

We enjoyed this series very much and are sad the Third season was cancelled. Karl Urban is absolutely fantastic as moody detective John Kennes and his side-kick, the “almost human” Dorian, is fantastic, gorgeous to just look at. They work perfectly together and create some extremely funny moments. Minka Kelly as detective Valery Stahl is pure eye candy! There’s some PC crap, but not enough to make you want to puke. ;-) Overall it’s a decent series, good enough to buy and watch it every year again!

Perfect blend of sci-fi and cop show. It's got great acting, and creative, interesting stories. And it's really funny!

Enjoyed this very much, and am now interested in wacthing the episodes in the intended order as mentioned in the comment below. Shame the series got canned.

If you love sci-fi and/or robots, and can at least tolerate cop procedurals, this show is a must-see! ***Important Note*** The episodes on the DVDs are in the same order as they were aired, which was NOT the original intended viewing order. For the best viewing experience, I recommend you watch them in the intended order: Pilot (disk 1); You are Here, Arrhythmia, Perception (disk 2); Skin, Are You Receiving, The Bends, Blood Brothers (disk 1); Unbound, Simon Says (disk 2); and disk 3 has the last 3 episodes in the correct order.

Cute and funny. Also thought provoking, well acted, and timely. Sure it is just another white guy/ black guy buddy story, but boy is this black guy something else--a reject robot that was supposed to be dismantled. If you like buddy movies, cop shows, or androids this is great fun.
