Another wonderful, well-written, beautifully illustrated celebration of black children from Derrick Barnes and Gordon James. A great picture book for all kids.
I get choked up on the dedication page. This is an important, powerful, visually stunning picture book. My hope is that everyone who reads it knows it to be true.
