Wonder is an incredibly moving book, written with so much heart. It tells the story of Auggie, a ten-year-old boy who has severe facial disfigurement, similar to Treacher-Collins syndrome. I very much liked the way his story was told - through his own voice, but also the voices of his sister and his friends. Auggie is smart, funny, kind and brave.
It's an anti-bullying, pro-acceptance message I highly recommend to kids and adults, alike. Bottom line: BE KIND.
