Rush hour the 1998 classic movie with Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker was by far one of my favorites. Things I like about the movie is how funny the movie is even in the scenes where the setting is serious, he manages to add a comedic affect. Jackie Chan's stunts are also what I liked about this film. Things I did not like include are the plot holes, a lot of things that make no sense, but because of how funny the movie was it makes it hard to criticize so strictly. This movie is one of best of the 90s era. I would rate this movie a 4.5/5. @GhostedBooks of the Teen Review Board at the Hamilton Public Library The movie “Rush Hour” is an outstanding and very entertaining movie. The quality of this movie is absolutely marvellous, everything including the characters and background was very clear. “Rush Hour” also included some intense martial arts performed by Jackie Chan (Lee) which was very interesting as well as entertaining to watch. The colours of the movie were also very well displayed in different sections. The plot of “Rush Hour” is terrific with two cops, one from Los Angeles and the other from Hong Kong, working together to find a kidnapper who has kidnaped an important/powerful person’s daughter. The emotion and mood which this movie expresses are amazing with a glimpse of sadness, anger, joy and humour. The ending of this movie was very enjoyable and happy as the cops have cracked the case and found the child. I believe that this movie is enjoyable for adults and teens. However, I believe that “Rush Hour” is very inappropriate for younger children as it uses curse words and shows some inappropriate scenes at unexpected times. Anyone who enjoys action-packed movies should definitely watch “Rush Hour”. @Chichiro of the Hamilton Public Library Teen Review Board ***SPOILERS*** Rush hour is an action movie but it's also full of humour. Jackie Chan as Lee is a Hong Kong detective inspector. When the Chinese ambassador is kidnapped he is sent to assist the FBI, and he gets stuck with the clumsy, silly, trouble maker Carter. Together, they do not make a good team at first, but after getting to know each other and assisting each other, they find out that they've been ditched by the FBI. But this does not stop them! Lee and Carter decide to work on their own and kill the case. - @mockingbird of the Teen Review Board of the Hamilton Public Library
