Nearly as good as the Three Dark Crowns series! Blake’s utilization of the Greek gods was very well done, and I enjoyed exploring their new lives and visualizing their characters and voices. The other creatures were also very well executed, though I ended up imagining the Nereids like the Amphibian Man from “The Shape of Water”, which made me slightly more sympathetic to their cause. (Probably not the the best idea.) The writing was spectacular, and for the most part, Blake stayed pretty true to Greek mythology, which I admired greatly. Many books with mythology incorporated into their plots often miss the mark and are ridiculously inaccurate, so it was really nice to see that, for the most part, Antigoddess stuck to the original mythology. Thank you, Mrs. Blake.
