Summers did a wonderful job talking about such a rough topic. The description on the book doesn't really relate to what's happening, in fact, it's not really a description. Romy Grey is a rape survivor and no one believes her. In fact, the town she lives in despises her for accusing the town's golden boy of doing it. They all blame her for it as if she was somehow asking to be raped. For me, this book hit home. It's very important. A must read.
