Being close to 70 years old myself, I identify with Spencer Tracy in "The Old Man and the Sea". You are happy with life as it comes to you. I can just imagine myself landing a large marlin in a small boat and trying to land him. Maybe you don't give up on the dream of landing the big fish. Spencer Tracy has been a fisherman all his life and waited for this moment with the big strike from the marlin. Ernest Hemmingway wrote the book which remains a classic in all high schools and colleges as an example of excellent writing.. P.S. Veepea left the entire plot and ending to the movie in the comment section. This really is a disservice to all the other patrons who might watch the movie. It is OK to not like the movie,, but to give out the ending, well, that's is plainly against the rules of KCLS.
