Really interesting premise -- and the coolest space ship ever. And points for simulating gravity by rotating the ship, though you'll chuckle when the rotation mysteriously stops just because the engine conks out. But the compensation is that we get a fascinating look at what a swimming pool looks like at zero-G. (Note to director: one can still swim through weightless water. Just FYI.) The film's most bothersome flaw is that the two lead actors are operating on vastly different levels of artistic competence. Hollywood has here leashed an eagle to a turtle. She's terrific; he's awful. You watch him, but you feel her. He leaves you comfortably outside the story; she pulls you into it. Worth a watch? Oh, yeah. Four stars.
