Trinity is not feeling comfortable in her skin. As a girl with autism, Trinity suffers with long hair, but feels it would make her feel more authentic in her own skin. Trinity's mother decides to go to a wig shop to find a wig with longer hair than she thinks Trinity would like. Trinity's older sibling, Lucien, goes with their mother to shop wigs and the two decide that Trinity needs something close to her original hair texture, but with personality. Trinity's mom decides to create her own rainbow wig, one that specifically represents Trinity with beautiful rainbow curls that aren't too long to bother her. In the morning, Trinity is thrilled to find her rainbow wig. This lovely book about self-love and family support is a fun and bright read. I was smiling from ear to ear!
