Magnificent. Absolutely magnificent. The ride of thrill continues in A Court of Wings and Ruin and it does not disappoint! I shed tears in this book, let out laughter, yelled at some characters, and overall had the entire book reading experience. I lived in Prythian through this book and fought in the battle alongside Feyre and everyone. My heart broke as the characters broke and healed as they were healed. I grew through this book series and have learned to love not only others but myself as well. Sarah J Maas truly brought the story of Feyre to life in this book. I miss the ride of this series already. This book is perfect for anyone above the age of 17 who loves fantasy, battles, royalty, Faeries and has read A Court of Thorns and Roses, and A Court of Mist and Fury. A Court of Wings and Ruin is absolutely magnificent! Definitely worth the read!! 5 stars @MissPeachPrincess of the Hamilton Public Library's Teen Review Board I think that Sarah J. Maas did another great job with this novel! A Court of Wings and Ruin was captivating, emotional and eventful. My favourite part about this series is the very likeable characters; I find myself getting very attached to each of them. I would definitely recommend this book to other readers, as I think that it is a great last novel to an amazing series! I found myself interested in each and every chapter, and it left me wanting more! If you are a fan of Maas, then definitely pick up this book, and if not, still give it a try – you will not be disappointed! @PenelopeScriptor of the Hamilton Public Library's Teen Review Board Well, honestly words cannot describe how good that book was. The book starts out with Feyre and Tamlin back at the spring court. While in the spring court Feyre continues to gather information, and Tamlin truly believes Feyre is there to stay. But I gotta say that Tamlin deserves every bit of torture for being a selfish ass. Throughout the book, we get appearances from all the best characters and a taste of their previous lives. That's about the best summary i can give you without spoiling everything about this book. I love the way Maas gives the message that family and friends are forever and to never stop fighting for each other. AAAH I just love this book so much. These were literally the best 699 pages of my life. This book also is a Goodreads 2017 choice awards. So can anyone give you a reason to not read this life-changing book. I also love how Maas ended the book because the previous books have ended on a cliffhanger so I was prepared to hit something if she did it again, but she didn't so all is good. 5 STARS for sure. “Rhys fell into flight beside me, and when he smiled at me again as we sailed through the stars and the lights and the sea-kissed breeze when he showed me all the wonders of Velaris, the glittering Rainbow a living river of colour beneath us … When he brushed his wing against mine, just because he could, because he wanted to and we’d have an eternity of nights to do this, to see everything together …” Excerpt From: Sarah J. Maas. “A Court of Wings and Ruin.” @bibliophile of the Hamilton Public Library's Teen Review Board Personally, this book was the most interesting of all three current ones released in the series to read. The playing field extends beyond the protagonist, Feyre, just as in real life where not everything revolves around one person. The relationships between the characters becomes a bit more dynamic, where more gates are opened and different lines are drawn. Loyalty is so very difficult to buy, as it can only be willingly given. Warning: do not let anyone below the age of 15 or 16 read this, as there is a lot of implied and written content unsuitable for those who do not want their minds ruined. I really enjoyed this book from the start to the finish, and I detest the idea of waiting for the next one! 5/5 stars @Siri of the Hamilton Public Library's Teen Review Board
