Beyond the Frame: Pacific Northwest Coast Native Art

Learn about the distinctive artistic traditions of Pacific Northwest Native Americans with these resources, compiled by a librarian at The Seattle Public Library for Beyond the Frame. Beyond the Frame is a community-wide initiative revisiting the photographs of Edward S. Curtis and sparking conversations on Native identity, race and resilience, art and culture. We are one of more than twenty organizations participating in the Pacific Northwest. We will be presenting exhibits and programming throughout the year, beginning with Living Cultures.
