The inner circle: A private investigator finds he is on the wrong side of the law when he is accused of murdering a well-known radio personality. The person behind the murder accusation is his own secretary, who is trying to protect her sister who has been formally charged with the crime. Working against a deadline, the detective tracks down all the suspects and gathers them at the scene of the crime, the radio station, in order to re-enact the crime and expose the real killer.
Dark mountain: Kay, a beautiful young bride, is stunned when she is implicated in a murder case. She discovers that her deceitful husband is the mobster who committed the hit. Terrified, she turns to her childhood sweetheart Don for help. He whisks her off to a secluded cabin in the mountains, but Steve follows them and takes her captive. In a daring rescue, Don confronts the mobster and makes a break with Kay, culminating in a perilous high-speed car chase.
Lady gangster: A tough-talking beauty gets mixed up in a bank robbery and lands in prison. Before she is jailed, she steals the loot from her partners-in-crime and hides it. While in jail, she is befriended by an influential newspaper man, Kenneth Phillips. The lady ganster attempts to earn her release by turning over the money, but a series of double-crossings by her former henchmen stand in the way.
Gambler's choice: Two friends become separated in childhood. One becomes a gambler, the other a policeman, and both are in love with the same woman.
